You may terminate your lease early by paying a lease buy-out fee equal to two months' rent and providing a written 60-day notice. If you are active-duty military and receive official orders, you may break your lease without penalty by providing a copy of your orders along with a written 30-day notice, in accordance with the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA).

There is a $50 application fee and a $250 holding fee, which will be applied toward your security deposit at move-in. On your move-in day, you will also be responsible for paying the remaining balance of your security deposit and pro-rated rent. These amounts may vary based on your screening results and the specific unit you choose.

Meridian Obici is conveniently located just 0.2 miles from a bus stop, offering easy access to various destinations throughout the downtown Suffolk area. We’re also within walking distance to several local stores, making everyday errands quick and convenient.

Please note you will automatically be enrolled in the property’s Building liability program, which is billed at $15.00 per month. Your personal contents are not covered under the Building Liability Fee, Damage Waiver Program. Residents may choose their own third-party personal content provider of their choice including the appropriate personal content coverage.

Nearby schools include Hillpoint Elementary School, which serves grades Pre-K through 5, King’s Fork Middle School for grades 6 through 8, and King’s Fork High School for grades 9 through 12.

Each apartment includes a washer and dryer, which is covered in your rent. There is a mandatory $75 monthly fee that covers internet and cable through Spectrum as well as valet trash service. Water and sewer are set up by the property management team and billed back to each resident based on individual usage. Residents are responsible for setting up and paying for electricity separately through Dominion Energy. For more details on included utilities, please contact the property directly.

We allow a maximum of two pets per unit, with breed restrictions in place. A one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $400 is required at the time of pet registration. Our application fee is $50 per applicant aged 18 or older.

We offer lease terms of 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 months to fit your needs.

Parking at Meridian Obici is on a first-come, first-served basis for residents. Unmarked parking spaces are reserved for residents, while spaces marked “Visitor” are designated for your guests.

Our cable and internet provider is Spectrum, and the service is included with a mandatory monthly fee of $75.

We offer a Preferred Employer Program that provides a 3% discount on rent for employees of Sentara Obici Hospital, Newport News and Norfolk Shipyard, the City of Suffolk School System, City of Suffolk employees, and state employees.
